Client work · B&M.ai · Smart labels SaaS

Every product, one tap from your brand.

B&M.ai came to us with a simple idea and no software: put an NFC label on a bottle, a jar, a jacket — and let the shopper tap it with any phone to land on a page the manufacturer controls. We built the whole platform. Manufacturers register, add a product, get an AI-written consumer page, and order pre-programmed tags. Every tap is tracked back to the brand.

What the shopper sees

Tap the label. Land on the brand. Nothing in between.

Each tag carries a short code. The phone opens it, our redirector resolves the code to the product, and the shopper is on the manufacturer's page before the phone leaves the shelf.

The manufacturer's journey

From sign-up to shelf in four steps.

The platform is built so a wine estate, a skincare lab or a clothing brand can go live without a developer. Everything below is the product as shipped.

1

Register and get a starter kit

A manufacturer creates an account, invites teammates, and receives ten pre-programmed test tags in the post. Every account is its own tenant — own products, own pages, own analytics.

Add a product, and AI writes the page

Name, photos, a few facts and the tag type. Claude drafts a full consumer landing page — product story, origin, care or tasting notes, calls to action — which the brand reviews, edits and approves before it goes live.

The tap page, exactly as the shopper scrolls it

A rich, mobile-first page with the product's story, timeline, shop-and-offers block and links back to the brand. The manufacturer can change the content after the sale — the tag on the bottle never needs reprogramming.

Order tags, then watch the taps come in

Production tags are ordered from inside the dashboard, pre-programmed and linked to the page before they ship. Every tap is first-party data: where, when and on which device — and the brand can retarget people who tapped with the next offer.

Why it matters

The label was the last part of the product the brand didn't own.

A shopper standing at the shelf has a phone in their hand and no way to hear the brand's story. QR codes need framing and an explanation. NFC just needs a tap.

Rich storytelling at the point of sale

Origin, history, the people behind the product, related lines and events — the page the brand wishes the packaging had room for.

First-party data the retailer never shares

Every tap tells the manufacturer where their product is being picked up and considered — data that otherwise stops at the till.

Content changes after the sale

A recall notice, a new vintage, a seasonal offer — update the page and every tag already in the world points at the new version.

Business model we built for

Pay for pages and tags. Nothing else.

The platform had to support a free starter kit, a per-page quarterly subscription and volume-priced tag orders — three revenue lines, one billing flow.

B&M.ai pricing: free starter kit with 10 test tags, $69 per landing page per quarter, tags from $0.40 down to $0.20 at volume
Under the hood

One codebase, every manufacturer a tenant.

Own directory, own database, own service — deployed the same way every client product we ship gets deployed, with a staging copy the client can play with before launch.

Multi-tenantManufacturers, teammates, products, pages and tag batches are scoped per account from day one.

NFC redirector/t/:code resolves a tag to its published page with a 302 and logs the tap in the same request.

Have a physical product? Give it a page.

If you sell something people hold in their hands, we can build the same loop for you — tags, pages, analytics and billing — or a different one entirely. Bring the idea; we ship the platform.
